What is Cherumbelle's wax made from?
A blend of natural vegetable oils and high grade mineral oils, chosen for clean, even burning and superior fragrance diffusion. Our formulas remain our own. Some things are meant to stay a little mysterious.
Are the fragrances natural?
Our fragrances are thoughtfully composed of essential oils and fragrance oils. This combination allows for a richer, more complex and enduring scent, while ensuring consistent quality from candle to candle.
Where are the candles made?
Cherumbelle candles are made in France. Every fragrance is developed in collaboration with perfumers in Grasse, the birthplace of modern perfumery, using ingredients sourced from around the world.
Are the wicks hand-applied?
Yes. Each wick is placed by hand, a small but essential detail in every candle we make.
How long will my candle burn?
Each Classic Candle offers approximately 45 hours of burn time.
How do I get the best burn from my candle?
For an even burn and the fullest fragrance experience, let your candle form a full melt pool (edge to edge) during its first burn. Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each lighting, and avoid burning for more than 3-4 hours at a time.
What is Grasse, and why does it matter?
Grasse is the world capital of perfume, recognized by UNESCO for its centuries of expertise in cultivating raw materials and composing fragrance. Working with Grasse perfumers means every Cherumbelle scent is built with the same artistry and precision as the world's most storied fragrance houses.

Where do you ship?
We ship within the U.S. and internationally.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed within 1-3 business days. Domestic standard shipping takes 3-7 business days; expedited shipping takes 1-2 business days. International orders typically arrive within 7-21 business days, depending on destination and customs processing.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Contact us within 14 days at hello@cherumbelle.com and we'll arrange a replacement or refund.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We’re happy to ship internationally. Please keep in mind that depending on your destination, your order may be subject to local customs duties or taxes upon arrival. These fees vary by country and, when applicable, are collected locally and are not included at checkout.
Returns & Exchanges
Can I return a candle?
We want you to love your candle. For safety and hygiene reasons, we're unable to accept returns on burned candles, but unlit candles may be returned or exchanged within 14 days.
What if my candle arrives defective?
Contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@cherumbelle.com and we'll make it right with a replacement or refund. Return shipping is on us for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.
