This enchanting medieval village has a true bohemian spirit. You’ll find great shopping, numerous art galleries, artisanal goods, and wonderful restaurants. Winding cobblestone streets and views of the French countryside create a charming and romantic atmosphere.
One of my favorite places to people-watch is the cafe right at the entrance of the village, called Le Café de la Place. It offers traditional French Provençal cuisine and is always bustling with energy. Get a table outside, have a relaxing lunch, or maybe just un café. You can watch locals play pétanque on the terrace of Place du Jeu de Boules.
Notably, some former residents include Marc Chagall, Henri Matisse, and Pablo Picasso, so it’s no surprise that this town is quite a creative hub!
